Calendula seeds grow into vibrant orange-gold blossoms known for their high resin content, which makes them especially valued in herbal medicine for soothing and healing skin. Perfect for infusing in oils and also making salves and balms.

The plants are easy to grow—thriving in full sun, well-drained soil, and regular deadheading to keep the blooms coming.

I harvest the seeds by waiting until the flower heads dry on the plant and curl into their distinctive crescent-shaped seeds, then gently rubbing the heads apart letting the seeds fall into my hand. They are a true favorite of mine to grow AND harvest!
