We use real herbs, real roots, and real ancestral know-how. 

No cheap junk. No neon dyes. No weird fake perfumes. Just old-style, folk-heavy conjure oils:

• Simmered low and slow for at least 16 hours

• Infused and steeped in dark places like a proper secret

• Strained and re-blended with fresh herbs, stones, and botanicals

• Bottled by hand, by Mr. Kelly, with a smirk and a prayer

• Blessed during planetary hours that match the fire signs’ ruling forces

These oils don’t just smell magical—they are magical.

The Fine Print:

• External use only. Don’t drink it. Don’t cook with it. It’s not that kind of potion.

• Always do a skin test before you slather it on. These are curio, presented for folkloric and historic value. 

• Color and herb bits may vary. That’s the beauty of handmade conjure—no two bottles are exactly the same.

• Magic helps—but it won’t do the heavy lifting if you don’t show up, too.

None of our oils are intended for consumption.

Magic can help you in many ways. It can unlock and open doors, lay a path, manifest a desire. But it is up to you to walk that path, walk through that unlocked door. You Must not rely on magic alone, be prepared to take the necessary actions in your life that will help you manifest the results you are hoping to see. There is no true right/wrong way to use our products. If it resonates with you, then do it. 

 
What is special about our oils? 

We have always said our oils and our family magic stem from ancient ancestral energies, but with a modern twist. Our oils are all traditionally crafted in house and ritually blessed. We create them in a family style that has been passed down. For each family recipe, we start with the highest quality herbs and botanical ingredients we can find. Some are milled or powdered, others are cut and sifted, and some are left whole. These herbs and ingredients are blended together and are then slowly introduced to one of several carrier oils that we have found to be most effective for metaphysical use. 

They are then slowly simmered on a low temperature for a minimum of about 16 hours, sometimes much longer. After this, they are gently cooled to room temperature. This not only guarantees that we keep a close, watchful eye on each batch of oil we produce, but it also guarantees that the herbs are completely infused within the oil. They are then placed in a dark, cool spot from several weeks to several months, depending upon the type of oil it is. Once ready, the oil is then strained and added to a new batch of cut and sifted herbs before being individually bottled by Mr. Kelly. 

That's all there is to it. We do not use fillers of any kind. We do add stones, resins, flowers or sometimes eco-friendly plant-based glitter, but nothing synthetic and nothing that would harm the environment. We prefer to let the herbs and carrier oils speak for themselves.

Here at Inexplicable Things, we have taken these amazing herbs, which happen to be part of our cultural heritage, and combined them with other elements found in many other forms of folk magic. We use the essence and properties of each herb, keeping them pure, as they would have been back then. By going through the very same process which we use to create all of our conjure oils, we have allowed these herbs to speak in a voice that may not have been heard for quite some time. We try to let the herbs speak for themselves. 

Inexplicable Things uses only the best organic herbs and ingredients. 

Many of these we grow ourselves, or we source locally when possible. We do not add any cheap colored dyes or perfumes to our oils. They are natural with pleasing fragrances - but are subtle and can be used when you don't want to be detected. You can tell the difference when you smell them! They are all herbal, no question! This makes them super safe, non-staining, with a light herbal fragrance. 

* Warnings: All of our oils are made with one of several base carrier oils. These carrier oils are all 100% skin safe. We add only herbs and 100% natural ingredients – no fillers, no synthetics, no colors. With all that being said, we still HIGHLY recommend doing a skin test first – to ensure that you won’t have a sensitive reaction to the herbs used within the oil. Do not ingest our oils or use internally.
