Kick Down the Door Spell Candle

A Flame for Breakthrough, Forceful Movement, and Refusing Continued Delay

There are moments when waiting is no longer useful.

Doors remain closed. Obstacles continue repeating themselves. Delays stretch on past the point of patience, and hesitation begins to rot into paralysis. Some situations require subtlety.

Others require movement strong enough to break through what has refused to open willingly.

Kick Down the Door was created for workings involving breakthrough, momentum, obstacle removal, aggressive forward movement, opportunity forcing, and the refusal to remain trapped behind stagnation, fear, delay, or resistance. This is the Road Opening candle, on steroids!

This flame is not a working of recklessness or destruction for its own sake. It is a working of decisive action, forceful momentum, and breaking through barriers that have remained closed for too long.

    The Work Within the Flame

This candle is a breakthrough and obstacle-clearing working.

It is designed to support movement through resistance, the removal of stagnation, forceful redirection of blocked energy, and the strengthening of determination during situations that require bold action rather than passive waiting.

Kick Down the Door focuses not on chaos, but on decisive movement. It reinforces the understanding that there are times when caution becomes another form of delay.

    It is especially suited to:

    • breaking through prolonged stagnation or resistance
    • overcoming fear, hesitation, or paralysis
    • forcing movement within blocked situations or opportunities
    • strengthening determination, confidence, and forward momentum
    • disrupting cycles of delay or avoidance
    • supporting bold action during major transitions or turning points

Work With Kick Down the Door When You Need To

    • break through situations that have remained blocked or delayed
    • force movement where stagnation has become unbearable
    • strengthen courage and decisive action
    • overcome fear, hesitation, or self-imposed limitation
    • disrupt cycles of procrastination, avoidance, or paralysis
    • move aggressively toward opportunities or goals that require momentum

    Practical Uses

Burn this candle in a focused, grounded space where you are able to sit fully with the work and your intentions.

Sit with the flame and reflect honestly on where your life has become stalled, delayed, restricted, or trapped in cycles of hesitation. Consider where fear, exhaustion, overthinking, or outside resistance has prevented meaningful movement from occurring.

This is not work meant to encourage recklessness, impulsiveness, or destructive behavior. It is intended to strengthen decisive action, courage, and the willingness to move when waiting has stopped serving any useful purpose.

You may choose to focus on a specific obstacle, opportunity, transition, goal, or blocked pathway while working with the flame. Some doors do not open until pressure is finally applied.

    Simple Working

Apply Kick Down the Door oil (if using) to the wrists, hands, or bottoms of the feet.

Light the candle and allow the flame to settle fully before beginning.

Focus your attention on the flame and bring awareness to the obstacle, delay, fear, or stagnant situation you are ready to break through.

Sit quietly with the feeling of movement beginning forcefully and clearly, pushing past resistance that no longer deserves authority over your direction.

Extinguish the candle when your focus begins to fade. Return to the flame regularly to reinforce the working over time.

    Working Method

This candle is meant to be worked in focused sessions rather than burned passively. We recommend working in intervals of approximately 8–10 minutes at a time, giving the flame your full attention.

This work strengthens through consistency, courage, and practical action taken alongside the ritual itself. Breakthrough rarely occurs through intention alone. Movement must eventually be followed by decision and action.

Light the candle with intention and extinguish it once your attention begins to drift. The work continues through the risks, opportunities, and forward movement that follow afterward.

    Ritual Safety & Working Guidance

Always burn this candle on a stable, heat-safe surface. Keep it away from drafts, pets, and children. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

This candle is not intended to burn continuously or without focus. We recommend working the candle in short, intentional sessions of approximately 8–10 minutes at a time. Sit with the flame directly, hold your attention steady, and extinguish it once that attention fades.

Avoid approaching this work from a place of uncontrolled anger, recklessness, or desperation. Breakthrough tends to remain strongest when guided by clear intention rather than chaotic reaction.

The candle does not need to burn completely for the work to begin. The process starts the moment you decide that remaining trapped is no longer acceptable, and it strengthens each time you return to the flame with awareness and determination.

When the candle has finished its work, you may keep a small piece of the remaining wax as a physical reminder of the relationship you have built, though this is not required.

For disposal, gather the remaining wax and place it in a small bag or wrapping. Dispose of it at a location aligned with movement and activity—such as a busy gas station or truck stop.

These serve as modern crossroads, allowing the work to carry forward without harm or disruption. Think of it like this: The old crossroads were places of movement, exchange, decision, and wandering spirits. Modern life changed the roads, not the current beneath them.

Today, busy truck stops, gas stations, and all-night convenience stores carry that same restless motion. When disposing of ritual remains, leave nothing harmful behind.

Wrap your remains respectfully and place them in the trash. The work leaves with the movement of the road — not as litter in the land.

For specific types of work, you may choose disposal locations that reflect the intention:

financial work → near a bank

chance or risk-based work → near a casino

fast-moving situations → near an airport

knowledge work, uncovering things → library

    Final Note from Inexplicable Things

There are periods in life when patience is necessary. And there are periods when patience quietly turns into avoidance.

Fear, hesitation, overthinking, and exhaustion can keep people standing in front of closed doors long after the time for waiting has already passed.

If this candle has found its way to you, trust the instinct that brought you here. The work begins there . . . with the willingness to recognize that movement sometimes requires force, decision, and the courage to stop asking permission.

This flame is a tool, not a replacement for discernment, preparation, or meaningful action. It exists to support momentum, determination, and the ability to move through resistance rather than remaining trapped beneath it.

Each time you return to the flame with intention and steadiness, you reinforce your willingness to move forward despite fear, uncertainty, or obstruction. And some doors only open once you decide they no longer have the right to remain closed.
