Let magick and spirituality permeate everyday life with this set of four cork coasters. Set included two of each Cretan Labyrinth and the Chartres Labyrinth.
The earliest known labyrinth pattern is the 'Cretan' labyrinth design. Its seven rings of paths are easily created by drawing a cross and four dots and then joining them up to form eight concentric rings of barriers, leaving seven rings in between.
The Chartres Labyrinth is a famous medieval labyrinth in the nave of the Chartres Cathedral in France, used for spiritual reflection and meditation rather than as a confusing maze. It features a single, winding path that leads to the center and back out, symbolizing a life journey. To walk it, visitors should follow the path without rushing and stay on the path to reach the center, a journey that can be done on Fridays during the summer or on Midsummer's Day when chairs are removed.
