Something Wicked - Bonnie & Clyde Death-Site Dirt • Spirit Communication Beeswax Candles

Something wicked this way burns... 🖤💀

Well now, cher, these little devils have a story to tell. And it ain't exactly a bedtime story!

Deep in the piney woods of Bienville Parish, Louisiana, on May 23, 1934, the infamous outlaw lovers Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow met their violent end in a hail of gunfire. Their bloody final chapter unfolded along a lonely Louisiana road, leaving behind a story forever tangled in American outlaw history, death, legend, and folklore.

And wouldn't ya know it? The OG Swamp Witch has decided to bring a little piece of that dark history into her candle-making corner of the Swamp.

Meet Something Wicked, a hauntingly beautiful pair of hand-rolled black beeswax candles, adorned with irregular drippings of Halloween orange wax, filled with traditional spirit-working herbs, and dusted with actual dirt collected from the site where Bonnie and Clyde met their end.

Yep. You read that right.

Bonnie.

Clyde.

Death-site dirt.

And a little spirit-working witchery thrown in for good measure.

A Little Dirt, A Little Death, and a Doorway to the Other Side

These aren't your ordinary Halloween candles, sugar.

Tucked within the rolled layers of each candle is a carefully selected blend of botanicals traditionally associated with spirit communication, psychic awareness, and working with the unseen.

  • Marshmallow Leaf — Associated in certain herbal folk-magic practices with benevolent spirit contact, soothing communication, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for ancestral work.

  • Wormwood — Long associated with divination, spirit work, and the mysteries of the unseen. A traditional favorite in workings intended to explore what lies beyond ordinary perception.

  • Blue Vervain — Used in various magical traditions for purification, spiritual awareness, and preparing sacred space for communication with the spirit world.

And on the outside?

  • A generous dusting of actual dirt collected from the Louisiana roadside where Bonnie and Clyde's notorious journey came to its bloody conclusion.

In folk-magic traditions, soil gathered from a significant location may be used as a symbolic connection to the people, events, and energies associated with that place.

And honey, this particular patch of Louisiana earth has one hell of a story attached to it.

When the Veil Grows Thin...

Something Wicked was created for those who aren't afraid to explore the mysteries of the other side.

These candles make an atmospheric addition to:

  • Séances and spirit circles — Establishing a ritual atmosphere for attempts at communication with the departed.

  • Communication with departed loved ones — Creating a meaningful space for remembrance, reflection, and inviting a sense of connection.

  • Ancestor work — Honoring those who walked before us and exploring the stories and traditions they left behind.

  • Divination and mediumship — Accompanying tarot, scrying, spirit boards, and other forms of spiritual exploration.

  • Bonnie & Clyde spirit workings — For those adventurous souls who wish to attempt communication with the infamous outlaw couple themselves.

Whether you're reaching across the veil for someone you dearly miss, gathering around the table for a Halloween séance, or calling upon the spirits associated with one of Louisiana's most infamous historical locations, Something Wicked brings a little old-fashioned folk magic and outlaw history to the occasion.

Of course, spirit communication is a matter of personal belief and experience. These candles are ritual tools, not a guarantee that anybody on the other side is going to answer.
