Spell Reversal Spell Song

The Spell Reversal Spell Song was created to intentionally undo a specific spell or working that you previously cast and no longer want active. This is not intended to wipe out every spell you've ever performed. You choose the individual working you want reversed, bring that specific spell and its original intention clearly to mind, and direct the reversal toward it. The song itself is the spell, using the lyrics, intention, rhythm, and repetition to unwind the original working, withdraw your intention from it, and bring that spell to an end.

This spell song can be used as a stand-alone working, or it can be incorporated into The Ritual Song Set. When using the full set, play it after “Energy Raised and Held” and before “Spellcasting.” Focus specifically on the working you intend to reverse so the energy you've raised is directed toward dismantling that spell—and that spell alone—before continuing with the remainder of your ritual.

You don't need to recreate the original spell or gather all of the ingredients and tools you used when you first cast it. You also don't need the original candle, petition, jar, poppet, herbs, or other remains of the working. Clearly identify the spell you want to reverse, hold that particular working in your mind, and allow the song to carry the reversal. If you still have the original spell materials or prefer a more elaborate reversal ritual, you can absolutely incorporate the song into that process as an additional layer.

These spell songs were created with accessibility in mind. They're especially useful for disabled witches, broom-closet witches, witches who can't safely use candles or smoke, witches who struggle with speaking or remembering incantations, or anyone who sometimes doesn't have the physical or mental energy for an elaborate ritual. They're also useful because sometimes you cast something with every intention of seeing it through and later decide, Nope. I don't want this working anymore. You're allowed to change your damn mind.

Use it through headphones, sing along, meditate with it, incorporate it into a traditional reversal working, or use it entirely on its own. Before beginning, be very clear about which specific spell you are reversing. The song is the spell. Your intention identifies the working, and the reversal is directed only toward the spell you have chosen to undo.
